What is your hourly rate/shop minimum/deposit/Retainer?
-
We are 300/hr with the Shop Minimum being 300. We offer discounted rates (250/hr and 200/hr) for booking Half-Day and Full-Day sessions. These are 4hr/8hr sessions, at 1000/1600 total respectively (before tax, yes, we have to charge tax in WA).

-
Is there a deposit to schedule, and does it accompany the tattoo?
-
Yes and Yes. Retainers/Deposits are required at the time of booking. They will be asked for at checkout if you book online or at the shop, and sent as an invoice to your email on file if booking after an online consultation. Retainers/Deposits are half the planned session (after tax 545/872). This goes towards the cost of your tattoo, secures your appointment date and time, and allows us to begin the design process.

-
What is the purpose of Retainer/Deposit? When Do I need to pay them?
-
Due to the heavy workload, I can only hold appointments with retainers/deposits. To have a spot on the schedule they are due upon receiving it.
-
-
Are there breaks during half-day or full-day sessions?
-
(The client and Artist will often take a break together during these sessions, pausing time, and we order some food. This allows for a little respite and recharge for the more extensive session. It is my treat as the artist; I appreciate you.
-
-
Will my half-day or full-day session run long?
-
Plan for 2hrs extra (only charged for tattoo time): An hour before we begin tattooing and an hour after tattooing ends (only charged for tattoo time). This accommodates going over the design in person to make any modifications (if needed), stencil placement so we can ensure everything aligns perfectly with your body flow, and the photography/photoshoot afterward, along with bandaging and going over aftercare.

What happens to my deposit if I need to reschedule?
-
If you need to reschedule, we require 48 hours ' notice, or you forfeit the deposit and have to put another down for a new appointment. Just communicate with us, and we'll be understanding and flexible. Life happens. Respect our time as we respect yours. No Call No Showing is not acceptable. Gratefully, it's a rare occurrence.

Do I lose my Deposit/Retainer if I need to reschedule?
-
No, of course not! We require 48 hours ' notice of rescheduling to adjust our schedule and correctly cover the timeslot. We understand that life happens, and We want our clients to be in a comfortable state of mind, looking forward to the tattoo and experience.

-
Do I lose my Deposit/Retainer if I am a "No Call No Show"?
-
A big resounding YES! We are predominantly requested to do larger projects. As such, we must fill that time slot with due notice. Your deposit/retainer is forfeited to compensate services rendered marginally and available time lost to earn income. That's a significant chunk of our projected income that We have no way of getting back, and we're humans with bills, too. Please give notice, especially if you're only running a little late. Just communicate with us and let us know. We understand that life happens. It's fine usually. But nobody's Gramma has ever died six times either, so if not truthful, at least be creative.

Can or should I use Numbing Cream?
-
Nope. Please talk to your Artist first before using anything on your skin! It changes the skin biology, requiring particular techniques to be done correctly without causing excess trauma. So NO, we do NOT allow numbing cream at this time and will have to reschedule your appointment if you do.
